Beryl Comar is the OBVIOUS EXPERT in hypnosis, NeuroLinguistic Programming (NLP), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) in the MIDDLE EAST, and a nice lady too!
Based in Dubai since 1976, Beryl previously worked for British Council, then Higher Colleges as Head of Communications. She was the first to bring the wonderful life changing tools of NLP and hypnosis to the Gulf. She has helped many clients and trained in Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Morocco, Lebanon, as well as visitors from Iran, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia who travel to see her.
Since 2001 when she set up the first wellbeing training company in the region, Beryl has been teaching US Certified Hypnotherapy, NLP courses and her students now run their own successful practices in nine different countries. She was the first to train EFT practitioners and EQ coaches throughout the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
She trains Dubai Police in NLP and Emotional Intelligence for the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Maktoum Award, as well as training within banks and hospitality services.
Beryl appears regularly on Dubai One TV and Dubai Eye Radio and she has been featured in Gulf News, Emirates Woman, Viva and Ahlan and is the author of "HypnoDontics: A Manual for Dentists and Hypnotists" published by the Dave Elman Hypnosis Institute and available in English, Spanish and Arabic.
Beryl's Arabic ebook "Hypnosis for Children" complements her position as Trainer/Consultant of The Goulding SleepTalk Process and with the hope of helping children troubled by war and constant unrest in the MENA region.
Beryl has attended NGH conventions since 2000, as presenter since 2004. She has been awarded:
2007 Beryl was awarded Trainer of the Year by NFNLP (USA)
2011 AEEDC awarded Beryl for service to Hypnosis in Dentistry - doctors and dentists refer patients to her regularly.
From 2016 Beryl has divided her time between UAE, and Spain where she does hypnosis for golfers, and writes.
She also travels extensively training dentists and hypnotists in HypnoDontics in USA and Europe (including training courses on cruise ships).
